You probably know a few small business owners around Erath County who could use a real website — or more leads coming through the door. If we close them, you earn 30% of the project, paid within 7 days of their first payment clearing. No script, no quotas, no contracts.

Multi-page site with contact forms, Google Business integration, and SEO basics. Most common tier.

Custom multi-page build with photo gallery, conversion-focused copy, and gated content where it fits.
All sites include a $50/month retainer for hosting, security, and updates. Some clients also subscribe to lead generation ($500/month per territory).
How the commission works
- 30% of the project total. Business-tier referral → $540 to you. Pro-tier referral → $1,050 to you.
- 35% on your first referral. Whoever you bring us first gets you an extra 5% — just to make this worth your time to try.
- 10% trailing on the $50/month retainer for the first 12 months. $5/month per active client, paid quarterly.
- 15% trailing on lead-gen subscriptions. If your referral signs up for a $500/month lead subscription, that's $75/month to you for the first 12 months.
- Payment within 7 days of their first payment clearing. Zelle, Venmo, or check — your call.
What you do (and don't do)
- What you do: Text or email Cody when you hear someone mention they need a website or more business. “Hey, talk to Larry at Larry's Welding — they don't have a site.” That's it.
- What we do: Reach out, build a free pre-built demo of what their site could look like, walk them through it, close the deal, build the real site, support it ongoing. You get an update within 48 hours either way.
- What you don't do: Sell, pitch, negotiate, follow up, or be responsible if they say no. No scripts, no quotas, no minimum referrals.
Who this is a good fit for
If you're in Erath County or the surrounding 14 counties — and your work or relationships regularly put you in conversation with small business owners — this is a low-friction way to earn on conversations you're already having.
Good fits: insurance agents (you see contractors monthly for COIs), accountants (quarterly for taxes), realtors who work with builders and remodelers, retired contractors with good reputations, Chamber members, church friends with relevant networks.
One thoughtful referral a quarter is real money. Two a month is meaningful side income.
FAQ
Do I need to sign anything?
No. This is a handshake arrangement. You refer, we build, you get paid. Cancel anytime by just not referring anyone.
What if my referral takes months to close?
Doesn't matter — once they pay, you get paid. We track every referral by who introduced them, no expiration.
What if two people refer the same business?
First referral wins. If the business is already in our pipeline before you send them, we'll let you know within 48 hours so you don't waste the introduction.
Can I refer outside Erath County?
Yes. We work across 14 counties in central Texas (Erath, Bell, McLennan, Coryell, and surrounding). For businesses further out, ask first — sometimes we partner with other shops on territory.
Is this a 1099 arrangement?
Yes. If you earn over $600 in a calendar year, we'll send you a 1099-NEC in January. Under $600, no paperwork needed.
What if the referral I send is already considering another web designer?
Still works in your favor — we'll build them a free demo and let them compare. If they pick us, you get paid. If they pick someone else, no harm done.
